Full size 60cm/ 4/4 Violin.
The difference between the various sizes of violins is designed to reflect differences in arm length and the average age of younger violinists. As a result, full-size violins are typically recommended for adults or older children with longer arms
Comes with carry case and rosin.
To use rosin:
· Tighten the bow.
· Hold the bow in your dominant hand and the rosin in your other.
· Gently place the rosin at the bottom of your bow.
· Slowly move the bow across the rosin’s surface, moving from the bow’s base to the top and back again.
· Rub the rosin back and forth over a 2 inch (5.1 cm) area, several times quickly.
Rosin is essential for any bowed string instrument such as the violin or cello. It plays a crucial role in the production of sound on any of these instruments. The gum-like substance in rosin is applied to the bow in order to generate friction between the strings and the bow.
Some string players apply rosin every time they play. A stroke or two of rosin can last for at least a few hours of playing time.
The rosin may potentially smash if dropped. If this happens, please be honest with us and replace or reimburse us.
